Deputy Ministers of State, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa and Felix Kwakye-Ofosu showed their athletic prowess on the campus of Wesley College in Kumasi Wednesday afternoon when they run from missiles thrown by angry training college students in the Ashanti Region.
The two and National Service Director, Michael Kpesa Whyte had to take to their heels and quickly board the vehicles that transported them to the school to avoid further embarrassment from angry students who sang various songs to ridicule them and the government for failing to meet their needs.
The students from the seven colleges in the region were gathered at the auditorium of the Kumasi Wesley College to partake in the Campus Connect Programme instituted by the Education Ministry.
The programme aims at enabling ministers of state and other resource persons educate students on their career paths on their various campuses and this was the turn of the Ashanti Regional training colleges.
