Some partners have been asking us to explain the type of videos they are allowed to upload PLUS the type of pages they can promote their promo links/iWidget
Here they are
1. Copyrighted material
iProducers/iPromoters are not allowed to upload videos or promote videos on pages that infringe copyright law unless they have the necessary legal rights to display or monetise the video.
2. Violent content
iProducers/iPromoters are not allowed to upload videos or promote videos on pages that contains graphic or gory images such as bloodshed, fight scenes, and gruesome or freak accidents.
iProducers/iPromoters are not allowed to promote or upload videos that are related to child sexual abuse imagery or pedophilia. Under the federal law, child sexual abuse imagery is defined as visual depictions of minors (i.e., under 18) engaged in a sexual act such as intercourse, oral sex, or masturbation as well as the lascivious depictions of the genitals (covered or uncovered).
This definition extends to photographs, videos, cartoons, drawings, paintings, and sculptures. The image can involve a real child; a computer-generated, morphed, composite or otherwise altered image that appears to be a child (think “Photoshop”). This also includes soliciting minors for sexual acts, which is also known as “enticement.”
Pedophilia is any content or behavior (images, texts, videos, etc.) that depicts, encourages, or promotes sexual attraction by adults toward minors (i.e., under 18).
4. Adult Content
iProducers/iPromoters are not allowed to upload videos or promote videos on pages which contain pornography, adult, or mature content. This include the use of the following words either on your title or description.
- Private part
- Blow job
NB: It is your job to read, understand and stay away from these types of content. If our video managers mistakenly approves it then we later find out, the video will be deleted or you will be banned.
Note a video that is NOT news worthy but was created to gratify viewers sexually is unacceptable.
