Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujaheed Dokubo Asari, has warned that it would bomb houses in the North with more sophisticated bombs if Boko Haram fails to stop the killings.
Dokubo warned that the spate of attacks by the Islamic sect was capable of leading the country into another civil war that can lead to mass destruction of lives and property.
Addressing the media yesterday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, Dokubo warned of dire consequences if anything untoward happens to President Goodluck Jonathan.
“On this issue of Boko Haram, the North will lose. We are just waiting; they will push us to an extent where we will tell Goodluck Jonathan that you are on your own. But what will happen will be one that will be unimaginable in the history of this country”, he said.
According to the man who once headed militancy in the Niger Delta, “We will cut them (the Northerners) off from the world. We are capable of doing that. There will be no food and they will pay dearly for their actions.
This war, as I am talking, is no joke. There will be no national Army to prosecute. When the war starts, other ethnic groups like the Yoruba and Igbo will tell the North ‘you are on your own. We are saying that nothing must happen to Goodluck Jonathan because if anything happens to him, the world will know.
“The arrogance of Boko Haram is un-Islamic. The type of bomb they are using is ‘small small pikin bomb’. If we begin throwing bomb, nobody will stay in Abuja. We don’t manufacture bomb, but we buy bombs and dynamites.
I started armed struggle in the Niger Delta. It is because of Goodluck Jonathan that we are quiet.
“But very soon, we will not be able to guarantee our patience any more. If Ijaw people should retaliate, every household in the North will cry. It is the North that needs peace more than us. Everybody must impress it on them that they should sheathe their sword and drop their arrogance”.
On the face-off between ex-President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and leader of the Ijaw nation/First Republic Minister of Information over the Boko Haram menace, the NDPVF leader said IBB and former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), cannot do anything.
“I want to be fair to IBB and Buhari on the Boko Haram crisis. They have nothing to do and cannot do anything about it. But the fact remains that the political elite of which IBB and Buhari belongs have not been able to address the problem of Boko Haram.
They cannot do anything because nobody wants to commit suicide. The Boko Haram people are just killing themselves but cannot kill us”, he said.

Lets just remember that we are passers by on this earth and this world is not our home. Till now I still wounder the extent of greatness we are to be if we love ourselves. BH has done a lot of havoc with there church bombings in majority this shows target on christians. If there target is government why not break record by bombing aso rock and government houses and major on government.This is a strategy to weaken jonathans administration.

Why is every one surprise at this episode? it is sponsored by government in reaction to the perceived impeachment treat by the house of reps. To cover up its incompetence of the President, the government has deployed various methods to divert attention to the issue of the economy and security which it has failed in addressing; if not how do you compare the statement of Asari dokubo with Nasiru El- rufai, Pastor Tunde bakare? The others were invited by SSS, for a chart while Asari is left to open his big mouth. It serves the northers right and the big loser will be south west, there dominance of the oil sector is being gradually checked , and by 2015 they will be made irrelevant. Boko Haram has no regional face and it only pretends to carry an Islamic face pretentiously.
BH have bombed a lot of churches and have been caught and are always members of d church yet accusing fingers point to muslims. Anyway my take is, nigeria should devide for d sake of peace. If jonathan cant provide security let him let go. Northerners are not afraid to starve to death y is d south crying for d north, im sure its not out of compassion. Every Northern muslim whether innocent or guilty; rich or poor, liberal or absolutist should be butchered. What dpo you mean ‘cost of war’? The nation is already at war! If innocent lives get destroyed along the way, it’s called collateral damage. Every Northern muslim has the ‘tendency’ to become a fanatic, why wait until you ALL throw bombs? I’m in favour of Asari Dokubo, the North should be wiped out- callous bunch of cowardly hypocrites. And when we’re done in the North, we’ll come back to the south and wipe out the remnant of such a bloody minded race. Every man, every woman, every child will be encouraged to root out every Northern muslim and their blood will be used to cleanse the land. We will not rest until Northern Nigeria becomes a mere relic of what it is today. And the time is NOW.
